Rava Kesari
Ingredients:
Rava - 1 cup.
Water - 2 cups.
Red edible colour - 1/4 teaspoon.
Sugar - 1/2 cup.
Ghee- 2 tablespoon.
Cardamom seeds - 1 teaspoon grinded.
Cashew - 3 to 4(dry roasted in ghee).
Raisins - 5 to 6(dry roasted in ghee).
Preparation:
Rava - 1 cup.
Water - 2 cups.
Red edible colour - 1/4 teaspoon.
Sugar - 1/2 cup.
Ghee- 2 tablespoon.
Cardamom seeds - 1 teaspoon grinded.
Cashew - 3 to 4(dry roasted in ghee).
Raisins - 5 to 6(dry roasted in ghee).
Preparation:
- Heat the pan with ghee in it.
- Add one cup of rava and dry roast it in the ghee for 5 minutes.
- After roasting keep rava aside.
- Now take 1 tablespoon of ghee in another pan , add 2 cups of water,edible red colour and add crused cardamom seeds and bring it to boil.
- As the water starts boiling , add the roasted rava and stir well.
- Look for lumps and mix thoroughly.
- Switch off the flame.
- Finally add sugar and mix again.while adding sugar the rava will leave some fluid.
- Add the roasted cashews and raisins to the kesari and serve hot or cold.
