Nei Pathil


Ingredients:
Oil to deep fry.
Rice flour - 2 Cups
Onions - 1 Chopped
Coconut - 1/2 Cup
Cumin - 1 tablespoon.
Water as required.
Salt as required.

Method:
  • Grind the coconut and cumin and onion together.
  • Mix  the rice flour with the grinded paste .
  • Add little water to this dough so it becomes like chapati dough .
  • Apply some ghee to your hands.
  • Take plantain leaf apply some ghee to this leaf .
  • Now take some dough to your hand and roll it nicely.
  • Then put it onto the leaf and spread it in a round shape like poori.
  • Take the spreaded dough and drop it in the oil .
  • Deep fry the pathil and flip aside.
  • When it becomes puffy take them out .  

Tasty nei pathil ready to serve.

Side dish suggestion :
Chicken curry, Egg curry. 
Veg Side dish - Veg koruma.
