French Fries




Ingredients

Corn starch or arrowatt - 2 tbsps
Salt                            - 1 tsp
Dry mint leaves          - 1/2 tsp
red pepper                 - 1/2 tsp
black pepper              - 1/2 tsp
citric acid dried or lemon juice -1 tsp
oil                             - to cook
Method
  • Peel and cut the potatoes in stripes.
  • Add some salt on it and mix it well let it set for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Heat the oil in medium high flame.
  • Mix corn starch,mint leaves powder,red pepper, black pepper,dried citric acid and make the spice mix.
  • Drain the potatoes stripes as the salt will leave some water and mix well with the spice mix.
  • Deep fry the potatoes and till it gets golden brown colour and dry up the oil using tissue and serve hot the french fries.
