Coconut Rice




Ingredients:

Cooked rice - 1 plate
Coconut - 1/2 cup

for seasoning:

Oil - 2 tablespoon
Mustard seeds - 1/4 teaspoon.
Urad dal - 1/2 tablespoon
Bengal gram - 1/2 tablespoon
Green chilies - 3 chopped.
Curry leaves  - 5-6.
Salt - to taste.

Method:

  • Pour oil in a pan and start seasoning with mustard seeds,urad dal,bengal gram,curry leaves and green chilies.
  • Add coconut and fry till it becomes dry.
  • Add salt and rice and mix it well.
  • Coconut rice is ready.

Side dish suggestion : Potato fry.
