Masala Vada


Ingredients:
Chana Dal - 2 cup (Washed & Soaked in water for 3 hours).
Onions - 1 chopped
Ginger - 1/2 inch chopped
Garlic - 2 to 3 pods chopped
Coriander Leaves - few finely chopped.
Sombhu - 1 teaspoon.
Green Chilies - 3 chopped.
Curry leaves - few chopped  
Salt to taste.
Oil for deep frying.

Preparation:

  • Grind the chana dal into a coarse paste.
  • Add little water if needed but make sure the paste is not finely grinded, just pulsating will be enough.
  • Mix the other ingredients to the chana dal paste, mix well.
  • Adjust salt.
  • Now take the mix in hand and make it into round shape.
  • Just give it a tap and make into disc shape and put it into the hot oil.
  • When one side turns golden brown flip aside.
  • Repeat again. 
Masal vadas are all ready to munch with hot tea.
