Onion Bonda



Ingredients:

Besan flour  – 3/4 cup
Rice flour – 1/4 cup
Cooking soda – A pinch
Onions - 1 sliced
Ginger - 1/2 inch Chopped
Garlic  - 2 Chopped
Curry leaves - few.
Orange food color – A pinch (optional)
Red chilli powder – 1.5 tsp ( add 1 tsp for less spice)
Hing/Asofetida – 1/4tsp
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Salt – As needed
Water – 3/4 - 1 cup ( adjust)

Method:
  • Mix all the ingredients and add little water.
  • Mix thoroughly and adjust salt accordingly.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the bondas in medium flame.
  • Switch off the flame when it turns golden brown.

Tasty Onion bondas ready to serve.
