Lemon Rice
Ingredients:
Lemon extract - from one lemon.
Cooked Rice - 1 plate.
Onions - 1 Chopped.
Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon.
Green Chilies - 2 Chopped.
Salt to taste.
For Seasoning
Oil - 1 tablespoon.
Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon.
Curry leaves- few.
Urad dal - 1 tablespoon.
Bengal gram - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
- Heat the pan with little oil in it.
- Put some mustard into it as it starts spluttering.add the seasoning ingredients one after the other.
- Slightly roast the dals and add green chilies.
- Then add the onions and saute till it becomes translucent.
- Add the turmeric powder and salt.
- Now add the cooked rice and lemon extract.
- Mix well till the yellow color is mixed evenly all along the rice.
- Adjust salt.
