Parippu curry
Ingredients :

Ghee - 2 tbsp
Mustard - 3/4 tsp
Red chilli - 2
Curry leaves - few

Preparation
Grind grated coconut, cumin seeds,turmeric powder and green chilly to a smooth paste. Keep it aside.
- Pressure cook dal with squash just enough water adding salt and turmeric powder. Mash it well and keep it aside.
- Add a cup of water along with the grounded paste to the smashed dal. Simmer and bring it to boil. Check for salt.
- Heat ghee, add mustard seeds, when it splutters, add red chilly and curry leaves.
- Pour this seasoning over the parippu curry .
